Next Block Expo, The Blockchain Festival of Europe will take place in Berlin on 23-24 November 2022.
This event, which aims to become the largest Blockchain Festival in Europe, is an event that brings together investors and blockchain technology experts in one place with the goal of building the future of the Web3.
Topics that will be addressed during the event are Decentralised Finance (DeFi), Blockchain Gaming, Metaverse, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), Fundraising and Investment, Scaling and Infrastructure and Web3 Discovery.
While the space is convulsed by the FTX debacle and the price of BTC can’t seem to find a floor, falling even below $16,000, the crypto community continues to gamble and grow. They might as well point out as a motto that they lose money but not convictions.
Being forward-looking is the stance in difficult times like these and that is why conferences like Next Block Expo 2022 help strengthen the ecosystem in these uncertain times.
Next Block Expo 2022
On Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 November, the first edition of the event, with the slogan “The Blockchain Festival of Europe”, will be held in Berlin, Germany, and is expected to welcome a few thousand attendees.
This space will serve as a platform for startups to communicate with investors and the rest of the blockchain community, with the participation of companies such as Ethereum Foundation, Binance Chain, Cosmos, Polygon, Near, Tezos, Solana, Aleph Zero and other lesser-known companies.
“We know the value of networking and collaboration in blockchain. Our goal is to facilitate the process and create a friendly space and innovative tools for everyone to connect, discuss and share ideas, as well as help startups raise capital and investors find golden opportunities,” highlighted one of the event’s creators, Tom Kopera.
A special networking app
All those who show up will have access to a smart-networking app, created and dedicated exclusively for the event, which has some special features that will make the experience absolutely mind-blowing.
First of all, it will create a list of attendees that match the user’s needs using a matching algorithm. It will also allow you to chat and schedule meetings and create your own agenda of actions to be carried out. There will also be promotions and special offers for attendees.
“This is a unique opportunity for founders to present their ideas, gather useful information, establish valuable contacts and get funding for their future companies,” said Kopera.
Speakers
Next Block Expo is an extension of the renowned Cryptocurrency World Expo and will feature more than 100 speakers. Some of the most talked-about names include Marius van der Wijden (Ethereum Foundation), Raza Raidi (Polygon), Sonke Busch (NEAR Foundation), Jason Choi (Tangent) and José María Macedo (Dephi Digital).
“The venue, where the event will be held, will offer 6 content tracks for attendees related to DeFi, blockchain gaming and GameFi, scaling and infrastructure, web3 discovery and fundraising and investment,” the official release highlights.
There will also be a “contest”. In this, early-stage web3 projects will present their idea and what they are building. The listeners will be groups of investors, venture capital firms, software companies and industry insiders. The three best projects will be highlighted.
Thematic
In Germany the agenda will be completed with:
